Last Day of June

On Wednesday 17th June or little Saoirse, slipped on the kitchen floor and broke her leg. It was an awful day she ended up in the childrens ward with her leg in traction. She and her mum were there for a week while they waited for the swelling to go then exactly a week later they put both legs in pink plaster and sent her and her mum home.
The poor little might was very frustrated not being able to get around and made life hard work for her mum but yesterday she discovered she could shuffle around on her bottom so is much happier.
Meanwhile her big brother Oliver has been staying with us so he can get some sleep (she is waking up a lot in the night and screams)and granddad can take him to school and pick him up.

June 2015

June is nearly over and quite a great deal has happened this month.

Earlier this month Roland went to the hospital about his aneurisms. The doctor said that they didn't want to do anything at the moment but would keep an eye on them. They said they would do another scan next year.
I'm not too happy about this as it is a worry to us that they might burst at any time even though the specialist doesn't seem to be worrying.

After that we went on holiday down to Devon.
We had booked a holiday for Roly and Lou at Woodford Bridge and they went down on the Saturday.
We had booked a week starting on Sunday at the same place but hadn't told them. When we arrived at their door they had a big surprise, luckily they were pleased to see us and we had a brilliant week.
