Today we went to Barton Grange, a garden centre north of Preston.
We met Janet, who runs the sewing workshop, and her husband, Peter to have lunch together.
We had a lovely meal, then had a wander round the centre.
Peter has had an operation on his foot so he was using one of the wheel chairs they provided and it was really easy for him to get round
This horse was covered in House leeks (Sempavarium)
These were in a corner
I don't know who would want them in their garden
These might be more acceptable
Roland took these photos
in the mens toilets!!!!
The women didn't have anything like this in their facilities.
We finished off the day by travelling home through the Forest of Bowland.
A really enjoyable day day.

looks like a lovely day together.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have some lovely places to visit around you xxx
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to meeting up with you in Sept, not long now :)
Love the pictures. We only have one garden center that know of that is interesting to visit but the one part which is a butterfly encounter charges you to go in there. The free part is not near as nice as yours. No horses or gorillas! It looks like you had a very nice day.
ReplyDeleteOMG are they what I think they are that Peter took??? Hilarious they look great lol. Looks a fantastic garden centre. xx
